About every 24 months I get fed up with other tools and come back and check on TR.

Still a great tool, still looking for the ability to process on iOS. 3 or 4 years ago it was "a high priority update" but I don't see it in the latest IOS app. Any updates?

Thank you for coming back. We need to re-design the app.

TR is by far the most effective software for maintaining a true GTD system, full stop. It's why we all keep coming back despite the lack of updates.

Having said that, why do updates come so slowly? Especially for the app. Is it lack of revenue? Have you thought about moving to a subscription model? I'd gladly pay double what I was paying for subscriptions to other sub-par GTD software. I'm sure others would as wel.

It is lack of revenue and now we have an issue with the iPhone that we cannot resolve so far. We are looking for an iPhone developer.

Thanks Claire. I truly appreciate the honesty.

I'll continue to use TR as long as I can. It's head and shoulders above other software in terms of GTD implementation, even without the fancy bells and whistles. I did hear that Apple is going to no longer support 32 bit apps starting later this year. I would, sadly, have to switch away from TR if the app doesn't work at all. So I wish you best of luck in finding a developer.

Also, I would pay at least double what I pay now to support development here. I'm sure others would as well. I realize a subscription model may not work since this is not cloud-based software, but have you considered a site such as Patreon as a way to get the community to support ongoing development? Just a thought.

Thank you for your moral support. Good news, version 2.8 has just been released on the Apple store. It should resolve the Apple message, the slowness, the link/unlink Dropbox account functionality and the crash when editing Notes and the spell checker is on. The app should now be considered as a 64 bit app by Apple.
