Hi Jeremy,

When you do release the iPhone app, hopefully you will charge something for it (especially if it works well as a standalone tool on the iPhone even if you don't have TR on the desktop). I'd pay for it gladly, and anyone who's using this as a day-to-day business tool should be able to stretch to $6 or more for an iphone version!!

Some people may disagree with this (I may even get flamed), but the way apps seem to be selling on the app store, even a small charge for this application will hopefully put you in a position where you can grow your dev team, which will mean extra benefits all around.

If I want to move to something like Things, it'll cost me about $50 USD for the desktop app and another $10 for the iPhone app, and that's for a Mac only app. You have a cross platform tool with great functionality. If you can sell the app and it sells well it'll be great news for all of us.

My point is, I really need to be able to organise stuff even when I don't have the laptop with me (which is left in the office as often as possible!!), and I rather hand you the cash for a great iPhone app that works with tools I already use, than go through the hassle of buying a new desktop app, learning a new a system and buying an iPhone app.

My fingers are crossed with great optimism :) Just my 2 cents.

Cheers

T.

Tony, completely agree, iTR (you can have that ;-)) definitely needs to make some money for TR if we are to see further development in the app. As you say, getting the iPhone app up and running will provide the best value / best looking / best functionality cross-platform option. I'm very much looking forward to it.

Be great to get a target date though!

As a blackberry storm user I don't have a major interest in the iphone. However, I also support the idea of selling the iTR on the appstore in order to increase revenue. If you get the application right, it could be a really good cash influx to aid future development. *fingers crossed*

I totally agree. I have no problem paying a premium for the iphone app, especially if it will help TR development, and the seamless integration of my GTD system across all of my digital devices. I paid 20 bucks for one of the other gtd iphone apps, but it isn't useful if it isn't integrated with my desktop system. So, I'll be getting the iphone version of TR regardless of price.
