As I'm using TR and GTD I'm finding that I am changing/adapting as I learn more and more. One of these things is collecting my thoughts.

As I review my actions I have random thoughts that I record in the Collect Thoughts pane and then go back to my reviewing. As I work on my work I also have these random thoughts and record them in the same location. What I finding restrictive is that I cannot go to other parts of TR while the child window Add Thoughts is open.

Is there a setting that would disconnect this window and allow it to remain open all the time? If not would it be difficult to setup?

Do you know that you can call the collect thoughts window from any other TR screen by using F6?

OK smarty, so you read the complete help. Thinking about you wrote the help. :-)

Thanks Claire, I'll do it that way and revisit if I find that it still slows the flow.

Apart from the help on each screen (which I agree is not the first thing I read when I start using a new software), we have provided tutorials which are shorter to read - see the process flow for example http://www.trgtd.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=75:processflow&catid=39:gettingstartedcat&Itemid=82.

All tutorials are under the documentation menu.

If you have other suggestions for documentation, let me know.
