I recently upgraded from an old Win XP PC to a new PC running Win 7 64 bit. TR appears to be working, but there is one problem: I have my User Account Controls (UAC) set to one step above "never notify," yet every time I launch TR, permission box comes up... "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher blah blah ..." The program name is "tr-launcher.exe."

What I've tried:
1) I uninstalled and re-installed TR, making sure install is full (everything checked).

2) I've gone to tr-launcher in program files & rite click. It offers "troubleshoot compatibility". After going thru detection, it offers 2 options in Select Troubleshooting Option:

a) Try recommended settings: (when you select this, it applies "Windows compatibility mode: Windows XP Service Pack 2)" Isn't it telling me that TR is *not* compatible with Windows 7?

b) Troubleshoot program: Here you are given 4 options of which one is "the program requires additional permissions." When I check that, it replies that UAC has been modified to "Run as Administrator." Despite selecting that option, this does nothing. TR still requires to give permission after each and every session

I have not tried option a, because I want to make sure the developers have not, in fact, made TR compatible for Windows 7. If they have not prepared TR for Windows 7, then since I'm new to Win 7, I want to know the best way to fix the nag screen.

Does anyone have a solution or workaround to allow TR to work in Windows 7 without having to give it permission at each and every session? Thanks in advance:

"Hi Brad

Yes, but there is a problem with the launcher. Please run tr.exe (instead of tr-launcher.exe).

Jeremy Moore"

RESOLVED: Thanks for clearing this up. tr.exe does run the program without the problems. Brad
