Some time ago, I posted a feature suggestion in http://www.trgtd.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2505&highlight=files. The person, who answered me, suggested a very simple hack to make ThinkingRock pretty-print the .trx files.

Since there is no direct way of merging .tr files atm, I'd be really happy if you could add this small hack to the next release (or maybe as a module to download?). Could you please tell me, if you have any such idea as a plan?

Maybe also, you know some really nice way of using subversion for merging .trx files.

As for now, I always try to commit my files whenever I leave the office, home comp, other home comp, yet another home comp, or my parent's comp. And try to update my file before using it. That works 95% of the time, unless I forget it at some point.

Then, I use a good editor to pretty-print the files first, and straight after subversion's "normal" merge capability is more or less ok to merge the file. Though, i'd definitely prefer some way of merging .trx files.

Does anyone else here have some good way of working with tr on several computers?

I use Dropbox, see http://www.trgtd.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=36:synchdata&catid=35:thinkingrock-portable&Itemid=41 for more details.

It works very well as long as you close TR before you leave the computer you are working on.

Dropbox is like a share drive between all your computers. I am very happy with it and keep on recommending it (and we are not affiliated to them).
