Hi.

Posted this as a comment to another thread in the open forums. (About international date formats, which I also would like to see.)

The new point is that sorting by date isn't really working at the moment, and adding a format like Y-m-d would help for that as well. (Though sorting by date instead of alphabetically for date columns obviously is an even better way to improve the situation...)

I hope making another thread about the same issue in here isn't frowned upon?

Nils

The date sorting is supposed to be in date order not alphabetic. Please have a close look and be careful that you do not have multiple sort columns that take precedence over the date column in question (hint: double click column heading to set column as first sort column).

If you are not happy with the ordering, can you let us know which columns and maybe an example screen-shot or something.

Oh, my! Double-click? Thank you, that worked. :) Is this documented anywhere? If it is, I should go read up in case there's other hidden tricks to be found...

It is at the end of this documentation article: http://www.trgtd.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=74:rasetup&catid=39:gettingstartedcat&Itemid=82

As part of the documentation on our website, there is also an Advanced section which includes useful shortcuts.
