Good day.
I use the email import a great deal. For those not familiar with it, the email import allows you to import email messages as collected thoughts. This is especially handy if you just need to "blast" a number of thoughts or possible to do actions to yourself while you are on the go.
I make it a point to always review my collected thoughts bucket in the morning, but I add to it during the day as additional items come across my virtual desk. If fills up.
It would be smashing if Thinking Rock did one or all of the following (as separate, user defined options) during start up and before closing down. I envision these as a message pop-up box.
- On start up, flash message that there are "X" unprocessed collected thoughts.
- On shutdown, flash message that there are "X" unprocessed collected thoughts.
In addition, it would be nice if there was a way to visually note that Thinking Rock has unprocessed thoughts waiting. The current "Process Thoughts" icon stays static, regardless if there is anything there or not. Is there a way to gray out the icon, indicating no unprocessed thoughts are available? Or, perhaps adding an exclamation point next to it? Honestly, it could change into a "dog" for all that it matters. The point is, the icon changes, visually notifying the user they have items to process.
Thank you for your consideration and thanks in advance to the community if they choose to add to or further refine my idea.
Cheers!
