Hi,

Thanks for ThinkingRock! A huge, though relatively straight-forward (I'd imagine) feature would be ical publishing of project due dates.

It would be in a different calendar than the primary calendar. This way you could look at all your upcoming projects at a glance, and get a mental time-line for them.

If this were extended to future projects as well (on either the same calendar or a separate one), this would allow Gantt style planning with TR. Many apps can display ical info in a Gantt style, and with the project-planning power of TR, this would turn TR into the one app I need to get from very high-level thinking about long-term projects to next actions, while tracking and planning the whole thing without duplication.

Thanks again for your great product, all the best!

Thank you for this suggestion. I have added it to the list.

We were also planning to integrate a calendar view module in TR. We were thinking of something like the following one: http://www.componentsource.com/products/mig-calendar/index.html

It appears like Google Calendar, doesn't it? Is integration planned with GC?

Actually you can already get this. Just get gcaldaemon and set it up to sync the ThinkingRock ics file with a given calendar on google calendar. No problem!

Mind you, having this integrated into ThinkingRock would, well rock. :)

Extra iCal export files for projects (current and future) due dates functionality has been developed. It will be part of version 3.0.1. We are targeting a beta release of 3.0.1 within one week. While you test the beta version, we will write the help for the new functionality.
