TOPIC: iPhone Sync 2.2 with Dropbox Fails

I´ve updated my TR Desktop 3.1.2, and added the new plugin, version 3.0.5.22.

And updated on the iPhone with the updated version.

I added 2 new thoughts, and tried to sync, Thoughts and Updated got to 100% but nothing else, and it freezes the app.

My thoughts are added to the TR Desktop, but nothing is put back into the iPhone app.

What is wrong. I´m following the intructions to the T.

I got it to work. I found that TR Desktop created a syncdown.txt file in my Dropbox folder, and when i synced after that, it downloaded that data into the iPhone app.

Man.. answering my own problem... that´s gotta be worth something. So am i updated to moderator now?... ;)

Yes, it takes a few minutes to get the down file to be created by the desktop and found by the iPhone app.

Go to your Dropbox settings and make sure you are not throttling your upload/download speed, too.

Hi all, same problem here. Daniel I don't get the solution you mention... can you explain this a bit more?

I also followed all the instructions but the app on the ipad freezes.


I did set the Dropbox bandwith to "do not limit" for upload and download and I entered the right directory in Misc/i-phone sync tab. I also installed the right module for iPhone-sync. What else can it be?

I can see a syncup.text file in my dropbox-folder, but not a syncdown.text...
