TOPIC: iPhone sync WIFI - accented characters garbled...

Hello,

Now the slashes and pipes are ok, but If you change a date of an action on your iPhone and sync with TR 3, the accented characters are badly transformed.

(I try to show the bad characters, but I got a PHP error "Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE)")

I hope you only have to update the TR Desktop Application plugin, but as the text of the action becomes bad on the iPhone, I'm not sure that will be sufficient.

I'm running on ThinkingRock 3.1.2 Java: 1.6.0_26; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 20.1-b02-383 Système: Mac OS X version 10.7.1 en cours d'exécution sur {2}; MacRoman; fr_FR (tr)

And plugin for iPhone: Version : 3.0.5.22

At least I can test easy with French characters...

Thanks for the fix (Version : 3.0.5.23), but the problem is still here. I have not tested with DropBox.

The issue could be reproduce with the following steps:
- on the desktop machine, create an action with accents (école) in the text note.
- sync with the iPhone over WIFI
- on the iPhone, postpone the action to one our or day later
- now the note on the iPhone has been garbled
- then sync through the WIFI
- now the note on the desktop is also garbled.

Sorry that fix was to try to fix something else. We need a new version of the iPhone app to fix the other problem. I tested one but found a bug in the file name being passed. I am waiting for a new version. Then it will take a few days to get the app approved.
